• 14:00 | Meet at Barnsley Station We are catching the 14:02 train to Penistone. Don’t be late—the train won't wait for a VAR check! • 15:00 | Penistone Church vs. Sheffield FC A clash of icons! We’ll be watching the World’s Oldest Football Club, Sheffield FC (est. 1857), take on the historic Penistone Church (est. 1906). • 17:30 | Presentation #1 @ Royal British Legion We head to the Penistone RBL to present them with the Barnsley CAMRA Club of the Year award! • 18:00 | Thurlstone Bound Boarding the bus to The Huntsman. • 19:00 | Presentation #2 @ The Huntsman Presenting the Runner-up Pub of the Year award, followed by a visit to the nearby Crystal Palace. • 20:00 | The Journey Home Bus back to Barnsley OR an optional stop-off in Penistone for the Penistone Tap. There are multiple return options from Penistone back to Barnsley throughout the evening, so you can stay for one last pint or head back early if needed.
