Meet at Crystal Palace, Thurlstone at 12:00, we will set off around 12:30. Walk to The George, Upper Denby. Approx 3 miles. Stop for Pie and a Pint. Walk to The Dunkirk, Approx 0.75 miles. Walk to Denby Dale, Approx 1 mile.

Transport information Bus 21a, departs Barnsley Interchange 11:00, arrives Thurlstone 11:55. Return Trains from Denby Dale to Barnsley depart at 39 minutes past the hour and take 23 minutes. Last train 19:39. . Participants to wear/carry clothing and footwear suitable for off road walking and possible bad weather. We also suggest bringing bottle of water.
