The bar/restaurant here welcomes the general public as well as golfers. The main room, the 1891 restaurant, with its plethora of similar tables and chairs, is somewhat nondescript but the Spike Bar, tucked away beyond the counter, is more comfortable and more pubby. Lunchtime meals are very reasonably priced and breakfasts are also available from 8.30am.
