Reopened in October 2023 following purchase by the Valiant Pub Company. Internally it is little changed other than a thorough redecoration and new furnishings so we have a single long split-level bar, with the counter dominating the top portion. The cellar bar has also been refurbished and should see more use than in recent times. Initially, the non-Acorn real ales were supplied by Carlsberg Marstons but more interesting (and local) offerings are the order of the day.
